Susanna Reardon, P.Eng. was born in Vancouver BC and attended Electrical Engineering at UBC. She has twenty-five year experience covering many aspects of radio engineering and the business behind radio engineering. She has held senior management and technical positions in Rogers Cable TV, Telus, Alcatel-Lucent and Turin Networks, a optical networking start-up, before hanging her shingle out with Karl in 2008.
Susanna loves to cook and boat. She is married to Karl with two lovely daughters.

Managed all aspects of an engineering department with 35 full time Union and non-Union employees and some 80-100 Unionized contractors in two Collectives to support projects for a $20 million annual capital budget and a $2 million expense budget and an outside plant of 3500 route km of coaxial cable and fiber optics. The department designed and constructed HFC (Hybrid Fiber Coax) outside plant, headend and signal acquisition systems, broadband microwave systems, pre-wired multiple dwelling complexes, rewired existing multiple dwelling complexes and replaced subscriber drops under my supervision. As the resident professional engineer, in addition to management activities, personally designed and implemented complex broadband microwave systems, VHF radio systems, alive-eye microwave system, optical and microwave studio links, satellite receive systems and the very first fiber-to-the-feeder system in North America.

Susanna worked at HN Telecom, a telecommunications consulting firm for two years as a junior engineer and completed many projects for STL, subscriber radio, microwave systems, VHF radio systems and satellite systems.
